Boolean Search Statements

My question :How can COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Production Act of 1998) help keep my kids safe when using the Internet.

COPPA and child* and (internet safe*)

Children's Online Privacy Production Act and kid* or child* and (internet safe*)

    Hi Julie,
    You are doing a good job but I have a couple of suggestions. The kid*or child* should be in parentheses so that they are not searched as separate subjects from COPPA. Also, a common error is to confuse the use of () and " ". The parenetheses are to contain terms that are synonyms with an OR between and the quotation marks are to contain a phrase that you want searched all together.
